- The Senior Internal Auditor is responsible for executing elements of the company's Internal Audit strategy. Through the activities below, the Senior Internal Auditor will develop strong professional relationships within company, build the department's standing throughout the organization, and progress in his/her own career development. On this role you will:
- Gain and understanding of the business, including the supporting technology.
- Assist in the development and execution of detailed audit plans.
- Identify risks, evaluate key control activities within important processes and develop recommendations to help management improve the business.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to various levels of management.
- Provide creative input that will add value to the audit process and organization.
- Coordinate activities and strategies with external auditors.
- Assist with various other special projects and departmental administration, including continuous improvement initiatives.
- The ideal candidate will work well in fast-paced environments and enjoy collaborating in teams.
- We will rely on your 4 - 5 years of professional experience in public accounting, internal audit, and/or consulting.
- Your degree in accounting or finance will be critical in bringing new knowledge to the team.
- You will bring practical experience, strong communication & presentation skills, leadership ability and project management skills to our team.
- The preferred candidate will have an accounting certification such as an ACCA or CPA and/or professional certifications CIA, CFE, CISA, etc.
- You will be proficient in English. Proficiency in other languages is a valuable asset (e.g. Russian)
- You will have the ability to travel up to 30% of the working time.
