- Reviewing complex VAT returns and client data, and endorsing VAT guidelines
- Keeping abreast of VAT law revisions and integrating them into KGSH operations
- Providing guidance, mentorship, and assistance to Team Members and the Country Expert community (Conducting country-specific and other training programs)
- Engaging with clients and tax authorities
- Creating VAT newsletters for internal and client use
- Tackling challenges by proposing innovative solutions for client issues
- Functioning as an 'internal auditor' concerning country-specific mandates
- Collaborating with and supporting other teams within KGSH: (e.g., acting as an 'internal VAT advisor' for client management, legal changes, testing, and technology)
- Undertaking additional supportive duties/projects within the team as necessary
- Education: College / University Degree
- Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in VAT advisory and compliance within the Spanish domain
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Outlook, and MS Excel
- Ability to interpret and apply legal regulations
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities
- Effective prioritization and multitasking skills
- Linguistic Proficiency: Fluent in English and native Spanish speaker
- Previous experience in a Big4 setting
- Qualification as a tax advisor
