Budapest is the host to KPMG Global Services Hungary (KGSH), KPMG's international compliance services center, which offers VAT compliance and Accounting solutions, and multicultural compliance professionals, who can provide coverage in more than 40 countries with relevant language and technical skills.
What we offer
Key Responsibilities:
• You will review complex VAT returns and client data, and sign off VAT guides
• You will track VAT law changes and implement them into KGSH processes
• You will train, mentor, and support Team Members and the Country Expert community (Facilitate country-specific and other training courses)
• You will communicate with clients and tax authorities
• You will prepare VAT newsletters for internal purposes and clients
• You will troubleshoot and suggest new approaches to solve client issues
• You will act as an "internal auditor" regarding country-specific requirements
• You will collaborate and co-work with other teams within KGSH: (i.e. 'internal VAT advisor' for client management, legal transition, testing, and technology)
• You will take on other supportive roles/projects within the team when needed
Requirements:
• Background:College / University Degree

• Languages: Fluent English and native German language knowledge
