    Our partner is a prominent player in providing top-notch engineering solutions to R&D enterprises in the region. With over twenty years of representing Mathworks, COMSOL and Speedgoat, they've aided numerous engineering teams in surmounting intricate challenges and expediting innovation.Currently we are looking for an Aplication Engineer Team Lead to their group.

    • Direct a customer-facing engineering team, balancing leadership responsibilities with hands-on technical contributions
    • Guide and mentor 6-8 team members, ensuring their direction aligns with objectives.
    • Manage team workload and report performance metrics, while also refining application engineering processes
    • Develop and showcase MATLAB and Simulink proofs-of-concept to illustrate software applicability, conduct presentations and demos to highlight product capabilities, manage product evaluations and guide partner integration
    • Cultivate enduring relationships with strategic MATLAB and Simulink users, coordinate with Customer-Facing Engineers to offer tailored solutions and support services
    • Assist Sales as a trusted advisor to address client technology and business concerns.
    • Foster collaboration across departments and report to the Head of Engineering, in tandem with the AE Team Lead

    Elvárások / Requirements

    • BSc or MSc degree with 5-7 years of relevant professional experience
    • Demonstrated proficiency with MATLAB, Simulink, or COMSOL in previous roles
    • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
    • Strong presentation and communication abilities, team player attitude
    • Effective communicator with advanced emotional intelligence
    • Willing to work from the office in Budapest (3 days/week home office provided)
    • Affinity for assuming a leadership role

    Nice to have:

    • Previous leadership experience or project management or significant R&D experience
    • Customer-facing engineering experience
