- Maintain and update databases
- Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records
- Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports.
- Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
- Proactively respond and inform superiors about possible issues, complaints, and other cases that require resolution
- Contribute to annual procurement planning
- Conduct contract negotiations
- Manage signoff process
- Ensure contract implementation
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities
- Contribute to delivery monitoring and follow-up with suppliers, and resolving complaints
- Follow-up on whole process until closure of each item
- Contribute to scouting, identification of (potential) suppliers required for category strategy
- Ensure onboarding and prequalification of suppliers
- University or College degree preferably in the field of Economics, Logistics/Procurement, Finances or Accounting
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Buyer
- Have basic experience in contract negotiation
- Have exceptional analytical and communication skills
- Are often described as a proactive team player
- Can speak English and Hungarian fluently
- Have MS Office, eProcurement and ERP/Ariba system knowledge
