• You develop and modify complex metal aircraft parts and assemblies
• You carry out tolerance analyses for single parts, assemblies and installation tolerances
• You create design data (2D, 3D, BOM, ECN) in CAD- and PDM-systems according to customer specifications and airworthiness regulations
• You work closely with other departments and suppliers to ensure a design in line with manufacturability and costing standards
• You create relevant documentation for qualification, certification and associated review meetings
• You carry out analyses relevant to the stress analysis of aircraft fuselage structures (ATA52, ATA53) to validate design solutions/changes, including for example static analyses, fatigue and crack growth calculations, FEM calculations, according to established methods and standards,
• You create and review stress documents for verification and certification, e.g stress dossier
• You assess and validate concessions of aircraft fuselage structures by stress signature delegation in terms of statics, as well as F&DT
• You check and release design data in relevant PDM-systems (e.g. TAKSY, MCT, etc.)
• You create and adapt routines for pre- and postprocessing of calculation data

• Degree in the field of aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering
• Sound experience with aircraft fuselage design and associated manufacturing technologies, aircraft fuselage static and/or F&DT analyses
• Good understanding of general airworthiness regulations for Part 21J/Part 21G
• Very good knowledge of CATIA V5, Airbus PLM System (Airbus VPM, PASS SSI), TAKSY and CADAM is a plus
• Good knowledge of geometrical tolerancing (GD&T)
• Experience in Airbus engineering environment is a plus
• Very good knowledge in NASTRAN/PATRAN, Hyperworks, ISAMI
• Good knowledge in analytical calculation methods (e.g. Bruhn, HSB, Niu)
• Good knowledge of programming languages (preferably Python, else VBA
• Very good command of English, including technical terminology; German is a plus
• Confident handling of office 365
• Willingness to travel to our German site on a regular basis, e.g. for trainings, team meetings
