Anaplan Business Analyst - Budapest

Job summary

This is a senior Anaplan Business Analyst role with Diageo, a leading premium drinks company. The role will focus on driving competitive advantage for Diageo markets through customer and consumer planning capabilities, expanding margins, and enabling business services.

Responsibilities

• Lead market requirement gathering through interviews, workshops, and surveys.
• Ensure stakeholder needs are captured accurately and documented clearly as user stories for Anaplan applications development.
• Translate requirements into technical specifications for solution roadmaps.
• Validate designs against requirements ensuring they align with business objectives.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and D&T teams.
• Facilitate communication to maintain alignment and buy-in from all parties involved.
• Analyze data dependencies within solutions for effective measurement & evaluation.
• Provide support during implementation phases.
• Conduct market discovery sessions documenting requirements comprehensively.
• Train users on Anaplan tools ensuring understanding across markets while supporting compliance documentation efforts

Qualifications

• Ownership mentality driving product priorities towards conclusion
• Experience in implementing/supporting planning solutions in Finance/Commercial/Supply
• Anaplan application experience as a developer or user is an advantage
• Agile methodology expertise using Azure DevOps
• Strong communication skills coupled with excellent stakeholder management capabilities
• Problem-solving aptitude with a proactive approach towards standardized solutions
• Proficiency in visualization tools such as Visio or Power BI is an advantage
• Demonstrated success delivering data-driven solutions focused on business-function-first mindset
• Ability to partner effectively across global functions/markets/external partners
