Technical support to Packaging Category within Knorr-Bremse Group Indirect Procurement Department

Participation in the execution of RFQs and tenders for packaging materials

Creating and development of packaging concepts

Coordination of technical discussions with packaging suppliers

Supporting the development of packaging material specifications and requirements

Building a database of packaging material specifications and drawings

Optimization of existing packaging concepts, materials, and proactive coordination of cost reduction projects

Supporting the Global Supply Chain team in packaging related topics

Skills and Competencies

University/College degree with specialization on Packaging Engineering

Minimum 2 years professional experience in a similar field

Knowledge of industrial packaging materials, packaging solutions

Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Proficiency in CAD design softwares

Experience in SAP an advantage

English at Full Professional Proficiency (knowledge of German an advantage)
